Manufacturing Initiatives
Strategic investments in infrastructure play a vital role in improving operational efficiency. By leveraging innovative solutions in production and energy management, we minimize environmental impact while gaining cost advantages.
Renewable Electricity
Looking ahead, we are committed to increasing our share of renewable electricity, directly investing in projects that expand renewable energy capacity both onsite and offsite. Where currently we are at 40%, by 2030 we aim for 80% of our overall consumption to come from renewable electricity.
Ecovadis Gold Certification
Our sites (HOPL) are ISO 14001:2015 certified, reflecting our commitment to environmental management with scope for continuous improvement. In 2023, we applied for an assessment by EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of sustainability ratings, and were awarded a Gold medal, which is the second highest rating issued by EcoVadis.

Minimising Emissions
Minimizing emissions is at the core of our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint. We reduce our footprint by cutting emissions, optimizing energy and water use, and minimizing waste like lumber and bio-fuel. Our commitment to a circular economy supported by advanced technology in solvent recovery helps us maximize chemical and material recycling. Water conservation and safe handling of hazardous materials stay top priorities, backed by strict monitoring and compliance measures.
